Dr. Chinmay Deshmukh

Dr. Chinmay D. Deshmukh is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, School of Pharmacy, MIT World Peace University, Kothrud, Pune- India.

Dr. C. D. Deshmukh has completed B.Pharm from the Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Borgaon (Meghe), Wardha, Maharashtra in 2005, and passed in the first division. Later in 2007, he completed Executive Master’s Program in Pharmacy Management (MBA) from Mitcon Business School, Balewadi, Pune, Maharashtra. He then completed a Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka in 2009 and passed in the first division. He joined Maharashtra Institute of Pharmacy in September 2009.  He has a total of 11 years of teaching experience to date. He has also completed Ph.D. in Pharmacology in 2017 from Pacific Academy of Higher Education and Research (PAHER), Udaipur, Rajasthan.

He has also passed 40 words per minute typing exam. He has participated in various extracurricular activities and social works. He has attended nearly 70 conferences and workshops as a delegate to various places in India and also worked as organizing committee members for several National and International conferences. He also attended faculty development programs, NBA/ISO workshops and various social, entertainment, religious programs conducted by World Peace University. He has also published various articles in the college magazines. He has total 11 publications with 02 poster presentations to his credit.

He has also worked as an external examiner, external senior supervisor and expert assistant in Savitribai Phule Pune University’s practical examinations for B.Pharm course. He has worked as moderator for Pathophysiology subject. He also handled the catering committee for various programs at the college level. He has also handled maintenance (Electrical/Plumbing/Civil) portfolio for last 10 years and student’s feedback since last 01 year. He has also contributed for museum development and animal house development of the School.  He also acted as a squad member in MIT WPU engineering examination on campus. He has also guided students in projects at the undergraduate level. Currently he is mentor of students and laboratory incharge of two laboratories of his department.
